About the Captain:

 

• Coast Guard Licensed Captain since 2002

• Insured by Charter Lakes, Specializing in Fishing Guide Insurance.

• Red Cross certified in CPR and first aid.

• Fishing in Florida since I could carry a rod.

 

I remember wading in the Indian River with my Dad, he's waist deep and I'm up to my neck. 

Catching trout and dodging Sea Cows "Manatees".

 We lived in Melbourne at the time and spent many hours up and down the Indian River, fishing for trout and snook.

Chartered full time from 2002 to 2006. During that time Jewfish “Goliath Grouper” became my specialty

At that time there were only a couple guides in the area of Boca Grande, specializing in the BIG fish.

 In October of ‘06 I had the opportunity to buy a small business in Winter Haven.  So, I actually worked until 2013 when I sold the business and retired.

Been in Apollo Beach ever since, guiding full time for the Goliath.

I’ve found that there are plenty of the big fish in our local waters.

For now, I’m the only one fishing primarily for the Goliath.
